Belle and Beau Acres

I recently had the pleasure of doing photography for a Nature Spotlight article in the Cookeville Lifestyle Magazine, which focused on camping. The theme was perfect for me since I have always been passionate about camping and the outdoors. For this article, I decided to feature a primitive camping area, and that's when I thought of Belle and Beau Acres, a Hipcamp site located in Baxter, Tennessee.

Belle and Beau Acres is a well-organized primitive campground that offers a unique and immersive experience for anyone looking to connect with nature. It is surrounded by the most beautiful natural elements of middle Tennessee, including lush green forests, scenic hills, and sparkling streams. The site has received glowing reviews and has even been rated as the Best Place to Visit in Tennessee by the Hipcamp Community.

One of the things that I love about Belle and Beau Acres is how easy they have made it for campers to enjoy the rustic experience without the guesswork. This campground is an off-grid oasis that promises a unique and adventurous experience. Being off the grid means that you won't have access to the usual amenities such as electricity and running water. However, this campground is the perfect place to disconnect from the world and immerse yourself in nature.

While the off-road conditions can be unpredictable, it's worth noting that 4WD has not been necessary so far. However, please expect some potential muddy spots and bumps due to the primitive nature of our location. They recommend that guests bring appropriate gear and footwear to ensure they have the best possible experience. If you're driving, please note that guests always have the choice to park their vehicles at the entrance. This is especially helpful if you have a larger vehicle or are not comfortable driving off-road.

They cater to a range of camping styles and welcome tents, hammocks, teardrops, rooftop rigs, smaller pop-up campers, and smaller tow-behinds. Whether you're a solo traveler, a couple, or a small group of friends, they have something for everyone. They are available to answer any questions or queries you may have and are committed to making your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.

The property boasts extensive acreage that has been meticulously preserved to create a haven for nature lovers. With groomed hiking trails, a private on-site waterfall, two rivers, and shared community spaces, you'll never run out of ways to enjoy the outdoors.

With its central location, you can also explore the Upper Cumberland area and discover all that this beautiful region has to offer.

Until the next adventure, happy travels!
